Two disabled dogs who had horrific injuries after being subject to cruelty have been nursed back to health by a selfless charity owner.
Batel and Lara, who were rescued from Egypt and brought back to the UK for treatment, were in a bad way and barely able to walk.
Victoria Bryceson, 35, who owns dog charity Miracle’s Mission, took on the pups last September when she picked them up from a shelter.
“We drove to France and then flew from France to Egypt to collect about 15 animals,” she told The Mirror. Then she and her team flew back to France and drove the injured pooches across the channel.
